Briar, The Messaging App That Keeps Your Conversations Private

There are many reasons why you need such application to communicate with people, including lack of privacy, government espionage, etc. All these reasons make so many people look for alternatives to the popular apps. Among these alternatives, there is an application called Briar, a communication application similar to WhatsApp and Messenger, but differs greatly from them in the way that it works, which is decentralization.

Briar is a free, open-source chat and messaging application that does not rely on any server or central network to do its job. All its content is synchronized directly via the Tor network or peer-to-peer protocol.

Also among its advantages is that it works without even having an internet! Yes My friend The program is developed to synchronize text or conversation between users directly using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection if the mobile network is not available.

When you want to add a contact, it must be done by scanning the QR code on the phone, and of course you have to be on the same place with the person you want to add to be able to do the job. You may say that you can make a screenshot  and send it to him, but unfortunately the application prevents the screenshots and if you do this you will only see a black screen though.

The app is available for download on Google Play, Click Here To Download
